Things lib-communists say that you hate hearing all of the time

p.s.: why not start a thread "things ultra-leftists/anarchists/impossibilists/etc. say that you hate hearing all of the time"

Thanks to Entdinglichung, this thread has been made. I find it interesting to see what posters here will say (if they have anything at all to point out). This can make for some good self-reflection and self-criticism within the movement.

Note: 'Libertarian communists' here means all of those tendencies that recently falls under that umbrella category: class-struggle anarchism (anarcho-collectivists, anarcho-communists, anarcho-syndicalists, etc.) and libertarian marxisms (left communism, council communism, situationism, autonomism, etc.)

Actually I seem to remember some Eastern European AS groups do have issues with it I have been shouted at by an old czech flatmate for using it, she was quite upset.

"Fellow worker". I don't hate it, it just makes me feel weird when people use it as a prefix to someone's name before addressing them. By the end of the meeting I'm fellow worker'd out.

Libertarian Marxism, there are very few peoe who call themselves libertarian Marxists. It is in the main an anarchist term for 'Marxists we like'.

naming subjective/self-identified revolutionaries "left wing of capital" ... because the objective criterion is practice: looks not too good for both sides then

constant musings on some debates back than in a flat in London/Paris/Barcelona/etc. or in a journal with 25 subscribers long ago where group X (four members) scored some points over group Y (five members) and seeing this as the decisive moment on the way to social revolution

Statist (virtually all of humanity bar us)
Marx was a police grass (so someone told me/read it somewhere)
Expletives (cannot be arsed to use the word which accurately expresses my meaning)
Equating free communism with uniformity (no more cultural differentiation)
I remember… (Lord love a duck not again/I need shooting) embarrassed

remember that from the Autonomen scene in Germany around 1990 ... funnily, the 1992 LA riots changed that, ending the total hegemony of the particular punk-autonomen culture

"You're such a STALINIST!"

Nothing wrong with calling out someone for being authoritarian, but I cringe every time I hear folks using "Stalinist" that way.

As I only understand approximately half of what is said on Libcom, I hate approximately three quarters of everything that is said on Libcom.
This, I believe, is because I'm a working class thicko and not a middle class intellectual!
