Writer of Persepolis which I got round to watching recently. Aswell as the obligatory nods towards marx, she also appears to have been involved (briefly) in an anarchist sub culture in Vienna. Is there anything written about this? Does anyone know anymore?

one of her friends at school in Vienna identified himself as a kind of nihilist weirdo admiring Bakunin, Sartre, etc. ... he was interested in Marjane because she had experienced "a real war" which he found "cool"

she's really boozh. but the comic looks great.
Bakunin is mentioned in the comic book.
