Luxemberg & The Mass Strike

Interesting Luxemberg links.

While Luxemberg raises some very interesting points in "The Mass Strike", her concept of the use of parlimentary struggle and centralization of organization is pretty clear in the few things I've read. I'm clearly no expert on her and do not come from a marxist background. By the same token Luxemberg, while correctly condemning social demcracy and leninism, still posses her solutions from a state socialist perspective.

Her chapter in "The Mass Strike" enttiled "The Russian Revolution, Anarchism and the General Strike" http://libcom.org/library/the-mass-strike-rosa-luxemburg is revealing in her attitude towards a anarchism --- and a central idea of anarchism, the general strike. I find her criticisms steeped in the the tradition of the Engels pamphlet "The Bakuninists at Work" http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1873/bakunin/index.htm and written at a time when revolutionary syndicalism was gaining a mass audience globally. Perhaps the intent was to counter-pose the need for both a marxian party and trade union movement committed to the class struggle and wrking in tandem with each other---yet tied to the use of parlimentarian and, when politically adventageous, extra-parlimentarian.

In spite of my own anarchist criticisms, I think she's valuable to read on a number of different levels.

Are there any FAUD or Rocker pieces on Rosa Luxembourg?

Curious ion there are any articles or pamphlets by German anarch-syndicalists on Rosa Luxembourg written while she was alive or not long after her murder?

It's the anniversary today of her murder by social democratic forces. Here's a short marxist perspective: http://en.internationalism.org/icconline/201505/13055/rosa-luxemburg-belongs-proletarian-revolution-not-social-democrats to contribute to the discussion.
