OK, coz of debate playing out on another thread I'm interested in the FORA. Is there something in the Libcom library? - I had a quick peek but couldn't see anything. Does anyone feel up to providing a few paragraphs summary?

Thanks

But if you can translate fron russian do it in the beginig with Belostok.
They have similar ideas (to some extend) but... Belive me this is strong. And no one in Internet still have it not in Russian.

I am quite good at languages - I can speak English, Australian English, and Australian slang - but unfortunately French, Spanish and Russian are beyond me. Thanks for the suggestions though, I will endeavour to read them if they're ever translated. Please don't take my previous post above as a hurry up. Quoting Jedi master Yoda is just my feeble attempt at humour.

I've got a great pamphlet on the history of the FORA, done by ASP I believe. It would be nice to scan it, but I meant to check with the SolFed archiving project that they weren't going to do it first.

Here's their site in Spanish:

I think the Aufheben issue on Argentina had info on the FORA.

Ronaldo Munck's Argentina: From Anarchism to Peronism is an excellent social history for most of the last 150 yrs or so, and the first half is about FORA/anarchism.

Don't know anything about FORA.

But you get a grin for the languages quip and a cool for quoting Yoda and an extra cool for providing his full title of Jedi Master Yoda. Shame you missed the "How Geek are You " thread I started in libcommunity a while ago. It prob. disappeared in the hack. sad Shame as there were points awarded for Sci-fi geekdom amongst others categories - you may have done quite well. tongue

No no no no. I want to state quite emphatically for the record that I am not a geek and would have failed miserably on your geek test. I don't actually like Star Wars that much, just that scene popped into my head for some reason.

And the geek test also included categries for libcom forum time and knowledge of and interest in IT. cool

OK, I've been spending a heap of time on Libcom so consider me back on board. (But I suck at IT).

cool Good to have you back!! The IT thing is relative - you may be no Catch but you will - trust me! - have more IT knowledge than me. Also points are/were awarded for enthusiasm as well as competence. We all have to start somewhere!!! (And my starting point is...well... embarrassed )
