It's a while ago but contrary to Caiman above, Chavez, Chavism and Maduro, along with the all anti-Yankee "Socialism of the 21st century" have acted as a catalyst for significantly worsening the condition and conditions of the working class in Venezuela, as well as reinforcing an ideological attack on it further afield. And today the same false and dangerous alternatives are being put to the working class in Venezuela as in Spain - back one capitalist gang or the other.
