Belfast: Building the Anarchist Alternative.

Submitted by Bobby on 5 May, 2008 - 17:47.

All welcome

Sick of lying politicians, greedy landlords and high prices and the blight of sectarianism, constantly being told tighten our belts while the rich get richer? The war maybe over, but there has been no ceasefire in the class war against us in the so-called ‘new era’ through forthcoming water charges, cut-backs and ‘privatisation’ of our public services...

Anarchism is about building a society with maximum freedom and maximum equality.
Anarchist ideas link a vision of a new society with the practical methods of getting there - through direct action and solidarity.
Come along to the talk and what we can do to improve our workplaces and communities. All very welcome!

When: 2pm, Saturday 24th May
Where: 185 Donegall Street, Belfast city centre. BT1 2FJ
(beside Irish News offices and opposite Front Page)

Speakers from the WSM plus film showing ‘Sacco & Vanzetti’

Wise up what? In a small room not being able to tell between 10 and 15 is pretty poor.

Good meeting though, glad I went.

26 May, 2008 - 23:03

oh jesus being petty and immature again. Since when has Organise or anyone else for that matter ever given an exact number of people attending meetings. Do you not have something useful to do......

26 May, 2008 - 23:39

stop it you two, I'm issuing you both with a pointless bickering ticket, anymore of that and you'll both be off to your rooms without any playstation for a week.
and let that be a lesson to you.

for the record there was 12 and a half.

for the real record, I wasn't there so I don't know.

26 May, 2008 - 23:59

Thank you ronan I will cherish my pointless bickering ticket.

Bobby what could i possibly do that was useful at this time on a Tuesday morning?

Like I pettily and immaturely said "good meeting, glad I went".
