Its about a fascist cop and how great he is, no?
2000AD
I loved it for years - then stopped buying it in the late 90s - the stories seemed to be getting worse, as I recall.
Its pretty good at the moment. theres been lots of sub-Alan Moore postmodern period strips (with zombies). There was also a strip where they rehabilitated Bill Savage from the old Invasion strips from the 70s (where the "Volgans" invade Britain), and every arc would be based around some war crime being committed in occupied Britain which has been reported as happening in Iraq.
Its about a fascist cop and how great he is, no?
He's a wage labourer. You dont pick and choose which workers you support. Plus theres usually a storyline about him feeling bad about being a fascist every few years or so.
And its edited by an alien.
I think freedom should use this gimmick. Its readership among teenage boys living in the 1970s would explode.

Anyone else enough of a l0ser to buy this?
You've got to respect a comic that refuses to change its name despite it not sounding that futuristic in 2008.
Plus about half of its strips are anti-Iraq war and/or accuse the ruling class of being child-murdering satanists.
