If people don't on occasion get a bit of a kicking they start to think its ok to do all sorts of stupid things.

IIRC there was a goth couple attacked somewhere up north, with one of them being killed, just for being goths. I know this is libcommunity but I think they have a point in protesting violence against people for what music they listen to.

Fair play to them for the protest, but these things do cut both ways, I’ve read some vile shit about chavs by Goths and there is definitely this undercurrent of middle-class Goths posing as cultural/intellectual superiors, then whinging when they get picked on. Obviously this shouldn’t end in violence, but if they’re going to call for people to accept them then perhaps they should be a bit less willing to go along with their friends dismissing non-goths as ‘subhuman scum’ for example.

bad move for posting up Juggalos though, i was about to suggest beating some dress sense into goths but it's a LOT harder to feel any sort of animosity towards them when you see some juggalos. down with the clown. how do people feel towards violence/murder against juggalos? surely it falls in line with basic communist principles.
