Best Buffy episode

So hard to choose.

I'd say The Wish

These are all good too
The Zeppo
Ted
Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered
Graduation Day
The puppet show - maybe
Lies My Parents Told Me

looks like I've missed one or two from season 4 as well. Might have to get the season 4 box set at some point (I got season 3 for 15e (£10 $5)
unless anyone knows of a decent torrent/stream

I forgot to add the finale to season five.

The musical episode's the best. Second best is the one where hell is being at work all the time, which implies that the only difference between earth and hell is that on earth more people have nights and weekends free.

what are youse 15 year old girls?

8 August, 2007 - 01:50

"The Body." My favorite moment is when Dawn's friend, in the art class, turns to her, and asks, "What's negative space?" and she replies, "I don't know." And then Buffy shows up to call her out of the class and tell her the bad news. We don't hear what they say. We see them through the window, from the perspective of the onlookers. The entire episode is about negative space, and is just brilliant. Not much dialogue or music, and beautifully shot.

I'd have to say that is the best one.

8 August, 2007 - 01:56

to be honest my policy is strictly atleast 17.

i could groom you for two years though?

8 August, 2007 - 02:38

1. The Body - but I can never watch it again, too traumatizing
2. Hush - fucking scares the shit out of me still
3. Once More With Feeling - hilarious, with bad dancing and all. They do a sing-a-long at a theatre here sometimes

Don't give up, Nate! You'll win him over yet!

8 August, 2007 - 03:11

After two years of grooming I fucking better have him won over. Otherwise it's fatal attraction time.

8 August, 2007 - 03:14

Nate i'll let you know depending on how this drink goes on Sunday. Don't listen to the haters btw, i've no interest in Jef Costello, he's not my type at all.

8 August, 2007 - 03:29

Then why are you having drinks with him?! Don't toy with my emotions Revol!!!!!

stop that! don't you know feelings of jealousy and possesiveness will not exist under communism! grin

actually some peoples idea of communism is the most soulless shite i could imagine, a dull, rational world of no extremes.

8 August, 2007 - 03:35

Yes but prefigurative politics only go so far. We can not expect to act as if we already live under communism prior to the completion of the transition to communism. In any case, don't sidetrack me with politics.

You know of course I only want you to be happy.

I never said that I was.

God I wish I had Photoshop and pictures of you two...

8 August, 2007 - 07:30

The musical one. Though, I still haven't seen all of them so there might be a lot of gems that I've missed.

All I have to add to this thread is that Buffy is utter utter fucking shite.

8 August, 2007 - 11:37

xTx sounds cool but I'll have to hold off until I move I think. I'll give you a pm in a few weeks if that's cool.

Oh looks like you don't know how to use the quote function, unlucky there Jef, still, at least you tried.

PS - Buffy is still shite

8 August, 2007 - 12:15

I agree with j.rogue absolutely - Hush, The Body and Once More With Feeling - but I wouldn't be able to put them in any order, each of those three is so different. All, unsurprisingly, written by Joss Whedon himself. My partner and I have seen The Body twice, I think, and we both cried both times.

And Hush is both the funniest and the scariest episode; and the rudest, I think.

I can't believe you spelled it "theatre." You've been hanging out here too much, Rogue!

BTW, I am appalled to discover I now live in "Centre" County. Next I'll be concerned with the flavour of my food.

which is the one in which one of Willow's spells goes haywire and they all forget who they are? The whole lot of them screaming when they see their first vampire is priceless.

Cripes. "Whole lot." Now I'm doing it. I'd better button my ascot properly.

Tabula Rasa. That episode rules; I love the part where Spike (or "Tandy Giles") figures out he is british.
I refrained from quoting. It was hard.

Buffy was boring. Angel was the better show.

Buffy's for mateless pre-teen geeks, closet homosexuals and goths.
