Best fad foods

For me this week its;

1. Chocolate milk (never tried it before and now I'm on 4 cartons a day).
2. Wheat germ (holy fuck, how nutritious is this shit?)
3. frozen banana (fuck it in a blender with the above two; breakfast)

Last months fads still going strong;

1. Steak (every day, twice a day when possible)
2. Oats (jumbo ones preferably)

What do other people here eat to improve their lives? smile

oh frozen banana is fantastic in a blender, and yeah with chocolates
chocolate banana milkshakes I've been making since I was about 12, now it's soya milk chocolate banana but still

frozen blueberries - fucking amazing, actually not really a fad, pretty much everyday
i recently went through a phase of having a blueberry and apple mini-crumble thing everyday for about two weeks
Nutritional yeast flakes on everything
Lat month I went through a phase of cooking traditional type shit like mash, veg, gravy - it was good

I get it like any healthy vegetarian does - well-balanced diet of fruit, veg, grains, nuts pulses etc
Fuckin hell, even beans on wholemeal toast is a complete (i.e. all essentials) amino acid snack

Given that I dont smoke but have gone through my fourth 20 pack this week and had 4 sessions that went on til at least 5am in the last 7 days I would really hope you are fitter. You're an edger. If I wasnt for steak and working out I would be dead.

Why on earth would you blenderize frozen bananas? Have em straight of of the freezer. Its like banana flavour ice cream. Sometimes I just cut them in half and stick lolly sticks in them before I put them in the freezer so its like an ice lolly. Otherwise, slice and wrap in tin foil, put in freezer for at least 24 hours.

Too lazy to cook before going to work so just put frozen banana, fistful of jumbo oats, wheat germ, honey and skim milk in the blender. The banana being frozen makes the whole thing more cold and enjoyable. Durr.

Na you get a completely different texture with a frozen banana, it's lovely, really, it is smile

kiwi banana and lime

banana, peach and nectarine

IF the fruit it ripe then you don't need milk for the liquid.

There was a boy in a wheelchair at my college who everyone hated but eveyrone had to be nice to just coz he was disabled. He always used to hog the lift!

No seriously he was a prick, once we tried to get in the lift as he was getting out and he said he'd FORGOTTEN HIS PENCIL and had to go back up and get it. It was a small lift so we couldn't fit in.

Although to be fair we were trying to take the lift just up to the next floor, and it was meant to be for only disabled people.

Smoothies are great until you realise that they have all the calories in the world in them and your body barely registers that its just had a proper feeding of fruit so you keep eating. Good way to round out the edges if you ask me.

That's nothing...HEMP MILK! First time I saw it, I busted up so hard that everyone else in the store thought I had flipped.

And as for foods, been on a big salmonburger kick this week. There's really nothing more American than taking every animal possible and turning 'em into shapeless patties.

Salmon patties are awesome! You don't use fresh salmon, that would be absurd, use the tinned stuff which really isn't good for much else. Traditional southern breakfast goodies!
