i'll come for sure - but probably only after the bookfair is finished though. I always run out of time there! Too many people to talk shit with.
Bookfair meet-up 2006
I'll be there [unless I die of pneumonia].
interestingly, i got a letter from my doctor the other day saying something like
'it is our policy to immunise all people over the age of 60 from flu and pneumonia. would you like to be immunised?'
the cheeky beggars.
not sure if i can make this - like the button, i am a bit of a social butterfly and therefore may be elsewhere...
ftony - bollocks to that, you gotta come. You've not shown up to any London meet ups and I'll ban you if you don't come to this.
sorry but i have two very dear friends of mine leaving london on the monday and it's their leaving do. you're welcome to have a nice civilised afternoon coffee with me instead
Hi peeps
A noble attempt from Jack to arrange a specific time but time to make things concrete.... I feel the core drinking time should revolve around the availability of the Manc. peeps who will be free from all formal Bookfair commitments at 5 and whose coach departs at 7.30 pm. Thus we should still be there for Jess to meet.. but as this may exclude the likes of Ftony (
) and Jack may have a valid point about overcrowding (he does have a valid point sometimes apparently!!
) I suggest a 3pm kick off. Or do peeps think it should be a bit earlier say 2pm?? And I don't know the area or pub at all but as the Coronet is evidently v. close/next door and noone has made an alternate suggestion I guess there???
SO - Coronet - 2 or 3 pm ??? If there are no strong opinions either way by, say Tuesday, I will confirm 2.30pm then.
Love

An early party into the Coronet to reserve space sounds good.
I think we should also have a named backup incase anyone tries to re-run last year at the Coronet, so if we have to leave for any reason latecomers know where to find us.
Can I suggest Holloway's very own Che Guevara theme pub - the Lord Palmerston/El Comandante? It's a bit small though.

has anyone got crash space going? i'd like to make the most of the pub, but there's works on the brighton-london line so i'm going to have to get the bus, which would probably mean leaving earlierWill I ever get there...
Being the lightweight that i am trains gonna be fine for me (there's some direct trains to victoria and back), now all i've gotta do is find the money...
So the actual problem is getting to Kings Cross.
Make sure if you are coming - everyone - you pop by and say hi at the libcom stall. We found out we are going to have wifi access at the fair - so if you are extra nice we will let you post on the forums ;)
Live up to your stereotype in one easy stage -- simply post on the internet from the Anarchist Bookfair.

Time tomstart planning for the 2006 libcom bookfair meet up?
Are we going to go with the Coronet (Wetherspoons next door to the venue) again?
I think we should have it earlier than previous so it doesn't get too crowded first and so people from far off can come before leaving.
What all do other people think?
