is quite good if you're into football. The whole Clough-Revie thing's a little overdone and the actor who plays Clough is a bit shit but fuck it, it's enjoyable enough. Spall and Broadbent are both weighty and the fella who plays Revie is a spitting image.

I'm reading the book at the moment, the Clough-Revie thing is a really important part of this fictional tragic 'Brian Clough' figure Peace constructs.

From the ads though Martin Sheen seems like a bad casting decision.

Dont read GB 84....its pretentious, impenetrable and obscure-for-its-own-sake.
However Im 411 pages in, and wont be giving in to the bastard now.

The Clough-Revie thing was really important in real life, Clough had a massive chip on his shoulder as Revie was a better manager.

I haven't been to see the film, but have read the book. It looks like the book was a little harsher on Clough, anyway most of its nonsense that Peace just made up. Johnny Giles won a court action and had a number of passages removed from the book because of this.
