i had a working definition of decadence at one stage of my life i worked very hard on implimenting. it involved vodka at dawn in a stolen crystal goblet and sloppy oral sex.

That's not decadence, that's drunk oral sex. Decadence would involve all of the above but being very bored while you're doing it and sighing a lot, possibly whilst muttering the word 'ennui'.
