Declaration from the North American Anarchist scene
This is the new theme song to the Revolution. A las Barricadas is too mainstream.
Good tunes, but this already decided it. There was better video with more of the song, but the it's not working for some reason. "You'll never be alone again" has already been a sign off on at least 3 communiques.
yes, if only people could combine these two types of music and anarchism, i think that would be a radical subculture that could really snowball
this should totally be the new anarchist anthem

I'd forgotten how awful that was.
ps the worthless pedant in me wants to point out that thats a combination of RnB and Screamo
Fuckin Bring the Noise would sure be an anthem.
BrokeNCYDE is a joke right?
I would full turn up to revolution and then punch everyone in the face during Micha.
fucking hell, north america is so shit they're only getting that JUSTICE song now? If you dropped that tune here you would be laughed out of the venue. Brb, 06/07.
We full got it in the summer. Took a few months to find a way to work it into the revolution. We mostly listen to MSTRKRFT when we want to tear it up electro style.

yeah i can;t remember exactly when it came out since i think there were several versions and all but i'm pretty sure that was playing in clubs in at least 2004 if not earlier. I mean i remember going to trash in 2006 and by then listening to it felt vaguely nostalgic
this should totally be the new anarchist anthem

Actually fuck off everyone, here's the real anthem.

Jesus fucking christ, I remember first listening to mstrkrft in 2005. I've seen them twice this year but its something my friends make fun of me for.
Are you going to namedrop Daft Punk next? Bloody Beetroots? Fake Blood? Sebastian?
So over it.
I like Jimmy Hendrix and early Black Sabbath, myself...
speaking of north america
how about a debate about bringing dogs to shows and wearing leather at a late-90s Drop Dead show?
actually people who bring dogs to shows are pieces of shit

Fuck that gets more amazing every time I see it. I wonder how many times in total I've seen that bit of them walking down the street by now?

Pretty much everyone who has a dog in public is a piece of shit, yeah. Also, how good were the guy's muttonchops?

To be fair, as ridiculous as the whole debate is, Drop Dead instantly launch themselves way above pretty much every self-identified "politico" punk band ever by actually confronting the dude who they believe is behaving like a cunt, as opposed to writing a song about it and passing him the mic.
Still don't like them though.
Watch it again, it was just some random dude in the crowd who grabbed the mic and confronted them first.
But yeah, walkin the walk and all that.
Musically never liked em.
"Read a goddamn book!! It's a fuckin holocaust!!"
What did the guy do that offended them so much?
watch part one of video (3m05s) - random dude in crowd grabs mic between songs and says it's fucked up to have a dog at a show, then Drop Dead launch into some shit about wearing leather
somebody put a beat to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2guQYivZ6w and we're set.
Dropdead = faggots

done, related vids

Nah seriously, thanks to the internet and instant transmission of data globally this song was big in 2006 everywhere, including shitty north america. It is just that you are actually the only person in the world further behind musical trends than me. Well done.
I love the bit where they're all "We're not doing this so you can have fun! We're doing this to communicate!" If you really cared about communicating a message, why the fuck would you sound like Dropdead?
I do quite like them myself, tho.

MSTRKRFT is from T. So of course we listen to them. They play my area all the time. I've had the opportunity to seem them 7 or 8 times including a five minute bus ride from my house a week ago. Never have taken these opportunities cuz electro music is boring to see live. DFA 1979 was pretty good though.

no
Fuck I'd love to do a FULL DEXTER PARALYSIS on Choccy, and then leave him passed out to wake up there.

i'd prefer if it was this
