Fuck that's grim. You can refuse to talk over the phone about benefit stuff, but they may just call you in then. Still it's probably worth it, as it clog-up the system fairly quickly. They will probably just send stuff through the post in general, i reckon.

they are already doing this cause they've stopped the need to make fresh hb claims for many people and introduced verification visits instead. (which is giving them a good reason to cancel hb claims and create overpayments which are then taken back from rent accounts causing worst debt just cause people aren't in when the man comes round). but those who they think are a risk still have to make fresh claims.
