I think so. What else would it be?

29 June, 2007 - 23:51

dunno.
guiness doesn't taste like that tho'.

29 June, 2007 - 23:54

It doesn't taste like Guinness. It's Jamaican, and I've only seen it in Brighton, so it's probably for puffs.

Fuck! It's like 1.20 at the local off licence, I'll have to look around a bit.

I passed out in a heap on my sofa with my laptop on me with a load of empty bottles around me. Punk! embarrassed

30 June, 2007 - 08:08

haha! well if you're ever in beffnal green, check out the 'Elegant Market' cornershop on Hackney Road. it's pretty much opposite my proto-yuppie flat too.

30 June, 2007 - 08:08

there's a 50% hove premium

30 June, 2007 - 11:06

it'd make a nice change from the usual 999% london premium roll eyes

30 June, 2007 - 11:07

Brighton/Hove prices are almost London. sad

30 June, 2007 - 11:39

Don't you have some 12 hour platformist meeting on anarchist gender roles to be at?

30 June, 2007 - 22:20

Jack,
You can buy this stuff all over London as ftony pointed out. It's price depends on the shop, it's almost certainly cheaper in London than anywhere else, cos most things are (despite popular prejudice- it's mainly rent /housing that's more expensive, plus travel).

Stout is one kind of beer and it isn't synonymous with Guinness. Youngs make quite a nice oatmeal stout IIRC (though they were a dodgy outfit) and there are some Scottish stouts as well as Irish ones. You should do some work on your palate and learn to appreciate one of the few products that Britain truly excels at smile

(beer if you couldn't guess)

Regards,

Martin
