Eros plus massacre
Has anyone seen this? If so, is it any good?
And does anyone know where I can get a copy of this film? Obviously with English subtitles cause I know fuck all japanese.
Sounds interesting... have u checked out some torrent sites?
I'm surprised no one seems to know about this. It was made in the 70s and was a kind of biopic about Ito Noe and Osugu Sakai - two giants of Japanese anarcho-communism who were brutally murdered by the military.
Wow that sounds cool!
We've got a bio of Noe here:

but not found one of sakai, if anyone knows of one please lemme know. I'd love to see the film!

Thanks for the links, hospodin, welcome to the boards.

I had a look at the bit torrent links, they don't seem to be working. ED2K links are still there further down the page.
To download those you need to get a program called eMule Serge.

I can't do that because, when it comes to computers and downloads, I'm fick.

Do you want me to tell you how to do it?
It is really easy, only thing is that you need to leave yur computer on for quite a while (12 hours min) at a time.
It is very simple, if you know your computer's specs (roughly) we can work out if it can handle it. Should be no problem if it's less than about 5 years old.

I've been roaming around online and the Japanese-only "Eros + Massacre" DVD is easy enough to get but expensive, it's also available with French subtitles, a version with English subs is available thru a DVD-R label in the US called Super Happy Fun, but they're a pirate label so I don't know if they're trustworthy. In the meantime some clips are available on You Tube which were enough to satisfy my curiosity. Also check out You Tube promos for a Korean movie called "The Anarchists"... search for the title + the name of the actor Jang Dong Gun
