He is reported to be fighting Fedor Emelienko.

for those not familiar with MMA, Fedor is the Pride HW champion and probably the best pound-for-pound fighter to have ever existed.

to be fair, it's general consensous, that no-one, outside of maybe Cro-cop (and he was clearly beaten in their first encounter) has any chance against Fedor, he is that good.

it's a bit of a win-win situation though. Wins, he's beaten the best fighter ever, loses, well it's Fedor!

looks like it may be Monson's best payday as well

It is actually pretty crazy, i'm not sure i want to post it but a similar move back in the early UFC almost killed someone. Its horrible.

I find it really hard to understand how anybody walks away from having their neck smashed into the ground like that.
