Fun ideas for a date
But half them aren't really 'date' stuff, they are just stuff you do when you are either going out with somebody, or even not going out with them and just mates. Basically just stuff.
Like watching TV.
Like, me and Revol sat up til 3am watching 'Supergroup' on VH1 last week - it was not a 'date'. Unless he thinks it was in which case I am not interested Revols.

I hate you xconorx. the only time I have gone willingly into a church was for my nan's funeral.
Having said that, I would go to a science thing - my favourite coffee shop in Pompey does science evenings when they have talks and stuff, and we had the Ignobel prizes down here once - that was good. And I like the medical bit of the Science Museum in London - that would be a good date, to go and see all the shrunken heads and stuff.

Go to the local science center
If you like learning, the local science center will fascinate you. They can be a bit pricy to get in, but it’s good for a few hours of entertainment and a whole lot of conversation starters.
Watch the DVDs of your favorite TV show (like 24)
Watching TV is so boring for me, but watching the DVDs is downright addicting. If you can find a show that you both like, it will spark lots of conversation and give you something to look forward to.
Play a computer game
This sounds ultra dorky and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it for a first date, but playing computer games is fun and free. Set up a simple network, and unless you’re in a serious relationship where you are just “hanging out,” you’ll probably want to keep it to short games like Starcraft.
Play with fireworks
Only the right kind of girl will play with fireworks with you, but it can be great fun. Ladies, if you really want to see your man excited, take him to play with fireworks!

Of course it has to be a holiday or special event, but don’t miss this opportunity to get a free date!

Help the local missionaries
Missionaries are always looking for help to do service, find people to teach or assitance with any of their volunteer activities. Get in touch with some and offer to help them — it’s very rewarding, and you can see what kind of person your date is!
Walk around a beautiful building
LDS temples, cathedrals and other impressive buildings can make for a great place to walk around or to sit and talk (at night, they are often very well lit). It’s great for having conversation and talking about things that really matter.
Do a service project
There are always lots of opportunities to serve that can give you an opportunity to see what kind of person your date is at heart. Check out a local food bank, cannary, homeless shelter or any one of 1000 volunteer projects going on at any time
