Aye aye!
Happy Birthday, Lone Wolf!
Hey these cakes are all so great! Thanks guys and esp. to Madas for starting this off so early in the am .....ooh and a puppy pic too - cheers!
I am off in a mo for afternoon tea with a pal - sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream and then cake - funny that!
Ooh and JK you still have a pm of mine to open...and you have been on twice since i sent it - mebbe there is a fault or mebbe.. you are losing your admin super powers - surely not...
I say again - these are all Such. Great. Cakes. (I look forward to seeing what Refused comes up with - his last post to me was a proposal of marriage so i am expecting something pretty lush!
)

Cheers boy - nice to see my thread bumped.. hopefully there will be a couple more posts tomorrow when the office boys are rechained to their desks...
how does Button and Jacks fave theme go... "Working 9 to 5, What a way to make a living... "
For those who are interested which means Refused..
my afternoon tea consisted of egg mayo sandwiches on white bread (made of proper boiled eggs and mayo...) , a scone - homemade, still warm, fresh from the oven! - with jam and clotted cream and a piece of homemade coffee cake. So strong - containing a ton of real coffee that combined with loads of strong tea served in a proper earthenware pot put me on a caffeine high all day.... This was in the grounds of Waltham Abbey so we looked round the Abbey which has some amazing stained glass windows then around the grounds and fed the ducks and stuff and walked by the stream.. all very pleasant... then the meal out last night (which i couldn't face til hours after... hic! ) was mixed leaf salad and a pizza with egg and spinach and then banoffee pie. This was a good day.

PS Only problem is the tea shop proprietor is such a dragon.. it is just an ordinary lil tea shop, not Nobu and this poor family man asked if they sold crisps - his son fancied a pack - she said they weren't that sort of establishment, they didn't sell junk food - she called him a "moron" (
) and sent him packing... With those kind of people skills i am surprised she is not Head of Communications for a Fortune 500...
Ftony - cheers and I see you are appealing to many social groups with your choice of pic and caption...will you be standing in local elections any time soon
and talking of politicians JK has redeemed himself with a lovely pm so you will still have my vote, honey...
Nice lil pm from Alan too but if you haven't posted or pmed and esp if you are an admin you are a lil bit rubbish and no mistake...

"The Subtleties of Scones" sounds like an album title by someoneIt's a spoken word album I released last year, Catch plays sax at the live shows.
That i'd like to see!! You will have to post the tour dates on here somewhere - Events and Announcements I am guessing...
. plus your album title is my new tagline - you can't say i am not promoting you boys!

Have a good one
