I don't like the idea of things that come in jars.
Honey
a friend and i needed some research and went to a bee-keeping class, mate refused to do anything which i thought was a bit twattish so i picked up the frame, but because my friend had joined the class they all thought it was weird that she acted so nonchalantly, and this guy started shouting at her to start getting involved which scared her i think.
read something about bees the other day apparently they form a big bee brain by climbing on top of each other on a branch and then one will run across the brain to communicate a message that will reach everyone.

Fucking commies.Stalinists surely?
The evolutionary 'class struggle' in hymenoptera is quite interesting. They battle over the sex ratio (because of their weird genetics, a 1:1 sex ratio benefits the queen, whereas a 1:3 sex ratio benefits the queen). In some species the workers work for the queen, while in others the queen is farmed by the workers.

I love it when you talk dirty.
The bees don't care
If I'm correct the deal with honey and vegans comes in the fact that honey farmers rip the wings off of the queen so she don't fuck off or something like that and the process of keeping bees for honey involves unnecessary death. The woman I live with wont eat it though as she tries to avoid consuming anything that is produced by an animal or insect... the reasoning behind this is that she reckons that animals and insects create stuff naturally for a reason so we shouldn't interfere. Farming of stuff for our consumption is exploitation.
they don't have the capacity to care.
How do you know? It's amazing how arrogant us human animals are innit...
Also GDID you should look at your diet cos if your needing a protein shake somethings wrong
all the best.
gregg.
i love killing wasps, the nasty little fuckers. however i am sad when i see a dead bumblebee because they're actually becoming more and more endangered (in the wild) now. several species have become extinct in the last few years alone, apparently.
eta: ditto with ladybirds. population is dropping dramatically. and they eat greenfly.

Can vegans eat it?
Im currently obsessed with it. I put it in my tea instead of sugar and in my protein shakes, must add up to about 8 servings a day. I currently have three jars of it - one regular, one chunk and one cream. Good times.
