From the Economist's livability ratings of world cities

Toronto #5
Boston #28
Ney York City #56

So we are 5.6 times better than Boston, and 11.2 times better than NYC.

Belfast, its becoming a little bit more like Dublin everyday. Except; the cops will fuck you up, the streets empty at 6pm and everything gets rediculously violent at throwing out time. That said if I was to rate Irish cities the list would go 1 - Dublin 2 - Belfast 3 - list ends

Are you trying to wind me up?
Dublin is shit, although I'd agree that the list should only contain Belfast (1st) and Dublin (2nd). Although I started coming-round to Cork after hating it for ages. I hated Dublin for ages but kinda thought it was alright at the last bookfair. Still, Dublin and everyone in it is shit.

24 December, 2007 - 12:22

There actually is NO MORE CITIES in Ireland. Galway, Limerick, Derry, Newry, Armagh, Lisburn etc etc are not fucking cities! They are big towns.

Yeh, but aren't you a vegan?

24 December, 2007 - 12:30

Fecking Oirish taking over a thread again to be sure wink grin
What population size constitutes a city anyhoo? I heard that a city is determined by whether or not it has a cathederal... Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland yet it it spread out over a massive distance and yet only contains less than 2 million... Fucking cuntry town more like - complete with redneck mentality.
all the best.

Sweeeet! Hopefully I'll only be here for a couple more years then back to the UK. If you did visit Queensland I could probably get you sorted to have a training session with one of Austrailia's best MMA fighters - the bloke that I told you about who dislocated my shoulder grin .
all the best.

It'll never happen - I'm broke and likely to be for a long time wink

24 December, 2007 - 13:26

belfast is definitely better than dublin.

24 December, 2007 - 13:30

YES!

24 December, 2007 - 13:45

Jack has obviously never been out in Dublin properly though.

24 December, 2007 - 14:18

yes i have. And when i went out in belfast, no one was attacked on the street. Fucking animals.

24 December, 2007 - 15:44

Is the beer any cheaper in Belfast? I remember paying something like 8-9 euro on average for six beers at the grocery store in Dublin. Oh yeah, and the pubs closed at midnight. What's up with that? Good company aside, I was actually kind've shocked at how unfriendly a drinking town it was (in Boston they tell you that Guinness and whiskey flows freely through magical fountains in every square back in the old country, wtf!?).

24 December, 2007 - 16:05

Belfast is not in Ireland you small nation nationalist angry

Did someone attack you? Nobody in Dublin is tough though, just stand your ground and they'll bottle it. Belfast is much tougher and the girls are more whorish.

I think there was an uncontrolled variable fucking around with things the time you were up, namely me.

And Belfast girls aren't more whorish, they are however the best looking girls in the British Isles.
