What if libcom was to build a permanent practical info-exchange space for jobs/good cheap housing/rooms or squatting possibilities of useful info or opportunities for all brands of libertarians, anarchists, etc? We all need help at times, and under forums, misc, it would provide a useful practical tool and assistance to many of our basic needs. It would also help further network libcom’s in general, in the uk anyway.
Under 'forums', 'misc', the new section could be labelled ‘info-exchange re- jobs, housing, accommodation, etc’ – people can make practical requests, eg; “2 of us coming to London need pad to crash on nights 21+22 May for demo’s, have sleep-bags, contact, Mike 07834???, or or email kim@blah.blah’.” or “decorating job, Manchester. Boss is flexible with work-time and to anarchist activists, ring blah on 0784 33???”

Hi, thanks for your comments. On what you suggest, people can and do post stuff like that in the forums anyway. If we had enough requests/posts like that then we could set up a dedicated forum for it. But at the moment there is nothing like enough content to have a functioning forum. It is certainly something we could keep in mind however.
