Cool.
junk mail opt-out postman reinstated
One thing our comrades in the SW used to do with all those is take out the Freepost envelopes, fill them with propaganda and post them back. Fills the time and may give the poor sap opening this crap something to smile about.
(or not - depending on the prop
)

I heard that if you put heavy things in freepost envelopes then it costs the company more money, I don't know if this is true though.

I can verify this, but preface it by saying it doesn't really depend on the content. Used to work in an insurance building opening the mail that came in and sending it to the right department, and would get all sorts of things that had absolutely nothing to do with the company or the mails themselves even. The best had to be either the people who took the time to scrawl over the junk mail we sent in big red letters "FUCK YOU" or the ones who'd write 2-page manifestos about how the country isn't how it used to be and ended it with "and stop sending me your goddam mails" as an afterthought. They truly made the job a lot less tedious and rote. It was a shame to have to throw some of them away. "Just look at the penmanship on this 'you cunts'," we'd say. And of course since you're paid by the hour you read every single word of it to kill the time, and to the supervisors it just looks like you're working hard. Keep up the good work, it's serving a dual purpose of informing and helping alleviate the mundanity of somebody's terrible job.
