He can't draw, isn't funny, has piss-poor politics, but LOVES to stick it to Israel and America.

I mean, what the fuck? Do you honestly think doing something this badly is acceptable?
1. The drawing is shit.
2. Making a coffin an oil barrel simply because it's a 'war for oil' isn't funny.

I mean seriously, why is he promoted amongst the left? It's not as if he's the only lefty in the world who can draw, and the humour is significantly below the worst that'd be in any of the shitty mainstream newspaper comics (including that stupid goth bitch in the Evening Standard and Fred bassett) and his politics are woeful - repeatedly comparing Israel to Nazis etc.

PS - anyone who has a comment along the lines of 'well why don't YOU go draw something' is officially an idiot, and has used the stupidest retort available to humanity.

Some are good (if its the same guy your talking about who is in Deviantart), but alot are like drafts, and a good few of these should of been thrown away- like the KKK/LAPD one.
He is deffinately not a great political cartoonist, wouldn't say the worst. Steve Bell I feel is one of the best.

Steve Bell has a good political style to his cartoons, and there humourous.

Sacco is ok. I don't really look for artistic merit, I look for politics in the art, thats why Steve Bell is very good. His mix face of Thatcher and Blair was very good, and done stylishly.

Oh I'll definatly agree 100% for his stuff in the 80's. Especially during the Falklands era, he was well good.
Just now, I think he's kind of run out of jokes. You have to admit after 6 years, Bush as monkey kinda gets a bit old. I'm sure there are better ways to lampoon GWB than the ever so easy 'He's stupid!'.

I was criticising his stuff on Bush, not the man himself. Altho I do think he's lost it - altho I can't think of any other newspaper comic I like enarly as much. Apart from This Modern Life. That's some wacky shit. like today, she said they needed to talk, but that he had to shut up! HA.

It's actually called 'Adolf McDonalds'! He's taken Hitler's first name, and Ronald McDonalds surname. So clever.
If only it was because McDonalds sells meat, which is just like the holocaust. But it's not, it's becasue McDonalds spend loads of money on advertising, which is just like Nazi propoganda. Y'know, "buy a cheeseburger"/ "Jews are subhuman" - the message is the same really.

I noticed a Latuff cartoon on one of those Iranian websites set up following the Danish cartoon row.
These sites where basically looking to get as many anti-semitic carttons together in one place so ast to say "up yours" to the West. Which suggests Latuff's cartoon was either used without his permission on a v dodgy site, or he has really shit politics.
Will see if I can find a link.
