Er - I click on the amazon link to find amazon have my real name and are trying to sell me shit. I think people are looking for a justification from admins beyond a simple sales pitch.

This is a piss take, right?

1 April, 2007 - 12:42

hi, libcom. i won't bother you for long, i will continue not to post, but...

you people are deranged i thought you might have grown out of it with teenage anarchoidism...

if this isn't a piss take, then i would just like to say, that its seriously taking the piss out of supposed "friends". This is how you repay frienship, by allowing amazon to track me?

I don't think that I can change the world by being nice to my mum, but I don't go around being nasty to my mum iyswim.

like i say, if this isn't a piss take, which i assume it is (i am very bored at the mo), then i would like to know how much you got?

grin

Best wishes,

lem

eta: i would also like a slice of the earnings... seeing as its my fucking details you've given away.

and that is the shittest web-site feature, ever. i mean, you have heard of the internet, haven't you? grin

eta: yeah, that would have been alright if guydebord hadn't been an nob.

I duno if you're joking but if amazon have your name it's because you are registered with them & they are trying to sell you shit because they are an online shop. I hope this clears up some of your worries grin

Yeah, don't know what I was thinking, hungover sense of humour failure embarrassed

Anyway, this indymedia page is pure genius:

Yeah, Libcom did suppurt the pro-test protesters. Apparently they turned up on that demo with a banner saying 'Class Unity Against State, Capital and Animals' and gave out a leaflet about all the different 'workers' who get killed by animals every year (like zoo keepers, scuba-diving instructprs etc) and how animals get used to crush 'workers' struggles' (police horses on demos). Forget that these animals have been enslaved since they born just so these so-called prolitariats can eat them and look at them!

Libcom is typical of the speciesist bias in all communism (even the 'anarchist' ones). If we want anarchism to be taken seriously we have to stand up for the rights of all oppressed groups, whether they're womyn, queers, immigrants... or animals!!!

So great you did this April Fool! Well done guys - knew you would not be that cheesy. cool Respect.

Prolly the most high-profile media April Fool was the spaghetti tree - anyone seen this on archive footage? It was on Tomorrows World when it was still black and white? There used to be some good April Fools in the media - - everyone now is too cowardly.,unimaginative or in fear of litigation to do so nowadays! yay for libcom! Nostalgia alert!!
