We should have a science forum. Failing that, someone explain to me a good theory of Abiogenesis, I just don't get how it could happen.

if revol was still here he'd look it up on wikipedia, and then explain it as if you were an idiot for not even knowing how to drive.

Weeler - on abiogenesis read either what I wrote about life from non-life in the 'responding to my christian sister' thread
or check out the Miller-Urey experiment. It's basically the most convincing model and demonstration of how self-replicating organic molecules can come into existence from non-living matter.

Even if god is real then he must have been formed from nothing too at some point? I'm concluding that the universe doesn't actually exist at all. It's all bollox.

To what end? What is the purpose of gods existence? I think I will go back to believing in the elder gods.

The P Z Myers argument is best, since it just makes the simple point that there's no point "understanding" theological arguments since they're just obviously fucking retarded.

It's a good cartoon, because people who believe in god think that they don't need food.

It's a metaphor, because they both believe something retarded.

It's a good cartoon, because religious people believe that we shouldn't do anything to make the world a better place, we should just wait for the afterlife.

It's a good satire, because that's what the cartoon is saying.

But seriously, a science forum would kick ass. We just need to make it better than infoshop's science forum where they discuss how much science, if any, should be allowed in an anarchist society. Also, they discuss how to free the minerals.

Libscience would be an excellent idea, I would love to contribute to discussions of the behavioral sciences in relation to the libertarian left.

you've probaby all seen this but...
the entire food industry of the world depends on the fact that evolution doesn't happen.
