so i just got back from A&E, and i'm sad because i've fucked up my shoulder (torn rotator cuff and acromio-clavicular joint separation if you're a geek like me) and it hurts and is going to take AGES to heal so i want everyone to post lots of funnies to cheer me up.

both my shoulders are fucked: the right one has had the rotator cuff torn twice, the left had a pinched nerve that never completely unpinched, it's about 95% forever, i'm afraid.

I don't have any pix, but I look exactly the same as Refused's cat only without the head bandage. or whiskers. wasn't doing anything exciting, just slipped and fell onto my elbow which pushed my shoulder out of place. the a&e staff were all "good night then eh?" and "heavy one, was it?". alas no.
and petey sorry about your various injuries, your shoulders sound officially more fucked than mine

In the last few weeks due to the pressures of finals followed by intensive substance abuse as a pressure release valve I have:
-sliced my finger open on a rusty nail and let it get infected leading to me being unable to make a fist for 2 whole weeks (TeTAnu$$$!1!!!1)
-cut my face open 2mm left of my eye, just below my ear and all over my hands on a rosebush trying to investigate an SE4 "urban myth" and falling off a fence in the process
-done my knee in (not sure how)
-got permanently aching shoulders and neck
-had a near panic attack when Jason Cortez tried to drunkenly throw me off a roof
-the chest of a 90 year old and the nerves of a post-traumatic stress victim and apparently I've burnt acid into my gums (!!)
Also all my clothes are broken. Fuck.

Not a tea drinker although it was a definite aid on Saturday morning when I was about 27 hours into a rather absurd bender. Right now I'm off to find another connect before some serious study action tomorrow.
