God I hate this whole pickup-scene. The message they give, that your life can be good, if you just change your style and fuck one-thousand women is so fucked up. Although their "techniques" may help very shy people, to open themselves, their teaching cements sexism, as it uses the inner workings of it. It's really practical sexism, commercialized and thrown on to people whose lives suck, but it doesn't make their lives better, it just distracts them from their own misery.
