Just a faint memory now....... think I came across a Swedish syndicalist journal called Praxis in the 1970's. Does anyone else remember this or am I a confabulating old fool?

There was a Yugoslav academic Marxist journal called Praxis in the 60s/70s. The Communist Party didn't like them.

Can you blame them? Apprenticeships for 14 year olds would have crippled the gears of state capitalism!

Yeah, I think I have an old issue of that at home. Was pretty good also, I think.

Bunch of losers. All of them ended up as either socdemocrats or liberal/nationalist. Reactionary bastards who are part of the intellectual segment of present political elite here. Bringing us liberal capitalism with a smile. And the whole thing about CP not liking them is questionable. When Yugoslav CP didn't like somebody they placed them on Goli otok, gulag type island in the Adriatic, as they did with the "stalinists" after 1948. Praxis had their publications published, organized a public school, many of them were professors at the universities... Yes, after some time that all was taken off, but non of them were killed or tortured as happened with thousands of honest communists at Goli otok (of course those "stalinists" guys were politically idiotic, but much more honest and utopian if you like than the rest; people who saw Stalin's critique of bureaucratization of Yugoslav CP as legitimate, because, well, that's what was happening).

Felix Frost: I seem to remember It was a good publication. Was it an SAC paper? Or was it a more specifically an anarcho syndicalist paper published by anarchists within the SAC.?

Praxis was billed as an independent anarcho-syndicalist magazine for all of Scandinavia. I think everyone from Sweden were SAC members, but apparently there were somebody from Denmark involved too.
