On explaining this project to my housemate, a daft and mischievous type, he says for the price of a round trip to Belfast he'll make it happen. Although he needs clarification on what constitutes "superficial damage", which i specified as a limit.

Okay, but 'Limey' refers specifically to British sailors. Origin ain't all that, common usage is what's relevant, and to Brits, Yank simply means american.
