Agreed he is not all that. However I have seen much shittier comedies on the bbc. Stuff like my family etc are the typical middle class comedy shows that suck up the bbc budget. Thats why when im in the UK i don't pay for a tv license, plus im a tramp.

I find it good lulz. I mean it's no peep show, but better than most of the shite masquerading as comedy.

Spaced is fairly decent. You can get the two seasons on most torrent sites.

That doesn't really say much; he could very well be a Labour voter.
I like those "tame and boring" comedies he does though.

I'm sure everyone who went to University and studied humanities wrote "a Marxist overview" of some aspect of history or culture. Media studies students writing about Foucalt's bloody Panopticon and reality TV, Baudrillard's hyper-real and cyber queer spaces or some other obvious mundane student essay

looks like I was right. Goes to show that writing anything "from a Marxist perspective" is worth less than a CPGB membership card.

the title of that thesis does hit alot of buzzwords. the content could be mere boilerplate, it's just that if you were discovered to have written something with that title over here it would get you all but blacklisted.

well, that makes sense tongue the new movie was basically Star Trek for people who hate Star Trek. i mean, they actually went and destroyed, with the events of that movie, *everything* that happened in the rest of the series (except for the fairly lackluster Enterprise series). cry

If you were paying attention you would notice they actually created an alternate universe, all the stuff in the original universe still happened, it's just now there's a whole new one to play with.

what? how'd they create an alternate universe? spock and those oddball tattooed up "romulans" went back in time and changed everything, i didnt see anything about them going to an *alternate* universe, just going back in time. it's not a proper sci-fi alternate universe, it's an "alternate universe" in that they went back in time and things happened which were so dramatic that they changed how everything would happen from Kirk's birth and onward. which really does negate everything that happened in the shows (minus Enterprise).
