I feel my enjoyment was enhanced by having watched Left Behind: The Movie beforehand

Haven't seen it, but been reading a lot recently about the Christian right in the US, and how their belief in rapture led them to believe nuclear war might be a good thing
Put simply, all the Christians would be raptured just before armageddon, whilst all those nasty commies (and I guess you and me) would not.
And some of these people are running the US again!
