How should you store a can of ghee once you've opened it? Should it go in the fridge or in a cupboard? confused

A can of anything - once opened - should go in the fridge. If this info is lacking on the can - as it prolly is or you wouldn't be asking - wink - than it proll also doesn't say the time period you should eat it within once stored in the fridge - i would use within 48 hours to be on the safe side.

Didn't know ghee even came in cans tbh. [mild curiosity]

It's just a can of fat; it'll keep quite well anywhere cool. Turn the heating off and keep it under the bed next to the biscuits! wink

I very nearly bought some ghee the other day but I just substitute butter whenever a recipe calls for ghee. I have often wondered what I might be missing, is their an appreciable difference between the results from butter & ghee?

Don't keep it IN the can! You have to decant it into tupperware.
