jose aldo running into the crowd, beautiful scenes haha
I was just going to start a thread on this.
Choccy, best event in ages is a bit hyperbolic, 129 (apart from GSP's snoozefest), 134 and 140 were all of similar quality.
Etim vs Barboza was tedious until the amazing finish.
Joe Rogan dressing down ref Mario Yamasaki in cage after the Erick Silva DQ was horrible. Sure from the replay it looked like a wrong but not entirely without justification decision but the ref had to call it from what he saw as it was happening. Fucking arsehole bosses publicly berating their employees...
I missed the aftermath of the Silva fight, but the afterfight talks are usually depressing. Not only dressing down Yamasaki, but fighters constantly grovelling to the Fertitta's and sponsors etc
I am devastated, unrealted news, my favouraite fighter of all time has made a cunt of himself
@nickdiaz209 Look how much bigger you are in this pic..I thought you were gonna scrap from the beginning homie? What was that coward fence holding strategy to tire out the smaller man? Street fighter my ass! I made you fight like glass jaw @jonfitchdotnet poser! I’ll be ready for that weak bs next time we fight
cesar gracie shot back with:
At some point it is up to those around you to protect you from yourself. To take you aside and let you know you are wrong and help save you from your folly. Unfortunately for Penn he is surrounded by “Yes Men” that are unwilling to do that. The outcome will be predictable, resulting in a fighter that will never push himself to the fullest and will always have excuses for his losses.
Fucking BJ why didnt you just stfu and retire, nothing worse than a fighter making bullshit excuses.
I never liked BJ, always seemed a bellend. Plus he's some weird hawaiian separatist I think.

He is not a seperatist rather just very proud of Hawaii and wants a more seperate kind of relationship to the rest of the states but more in a liberal way than the kind of right wing seperatism of the Nation of islam or nbpp, thats what it seems like in his book anyway. He has a dedication in his book to us soldiers, but states he is pro troop but not always in favour of where they are sent like the iraq war, which is pretty cool compared to fuck cunts like brock lesnar, sonnen and the cunts that dominate the UFC.
He is also a guy with mad heart and got his black belt after three fucking years, how insane is that.
BJ is a spoilt rich kid with little heart. Tons of potential, often wasted due to not trying.
how is he a rich kid, he is from hilo, to the son of an irish immigrant lol.
my understanding was also that he was a rich kid who's daddy paid for him to train fulltime
fuck, we'd all get blackbelts in a few years (ok probably not 3) if we didn';t have to work and could train twice a day 6 days a week on daddy's credit card

So there are no rich people on Hilo? Or no rich Irish people? Do you have to try hard to say such retarded things or does it come naturally?
BJ has exciting fights, I'll give him that but he just has to open his mouth for his toolishness to become apparent.

well yes there are, however bjs father was a POOR irish immigrant so no, they were not rich, stfu you condescending fuckface, cheers.

maybe his dad didn't blow all his income on drink and cigs and cars and was wise enough to send his son to train with ralph gracie after he showed promise training with local bjj practioner and going to a nearby judo club and subbing judo black belts as a white belt with no real formal training. Just saying, people have this idea that a family that is wise with its money and don't waste their money are rich, I don't agree with that, I am slightly envious though haha.
His dad paid for him to go and train fulltime in San Jose. Who in the fucking world can afford to do that?
I love when people make excuses for their heros but would call UPPERRULINGMIDDLE CLASS CUNTS the rest of the time.

Well my dad saved all his life from being 18 and saved like 15 grand and when he got made redundant he got like 20 grad cos hed been there so long, now if he had offered to use some of that to send me to train fulltime cos I was beating black belts as a white belt, would that make me middle class, no lol.
My dad gambled, spent and drank that money away in a couple years, a fraction of that could of paid for years of training and accomodation.
Also peter the part of Hilo bj grew up in was a pretty notorious part of Hawaii and when they moved there they bought a derelict house and made it liveable and were directly across from the major crack spot in Hawaii at the park that had been taken over by dealers. It was also said that the police did little to stop the rampant crime and antisocial conditions of the community because of the working class and heavily asian majority who lived there, whereas the middle class and rich areas had a high police presence.

Did you learn this sob story from BJ's "auto"biography?
Due to my mastery of google I have turned up this decisive evidence of BJ's full bourgeoisness:
penn's family is very well off...not part of the fortune 500, but rich enough to live very comfortably, own several houses and do whatever they want whenever they want while sitting around doing nothing...they do run and own Rumble Entertainment, which of course is Rumble on The Rocks and they also own and invest in many other businesses here in Hawaii...Like BJ himself also runs a cell phone shop that sells Nextel Phones called BJ Penn Communications on the Big Island of Hawaii, he also owns (2) full gym and training facilities on the island, etc...his brothers and parents as well have their own share of businesses/investments that defintely put them as one of the richest born and raised here in Hawaii...

No shit they are well off NOW compared to most families, not when BJ was young and when BJ was sent to train at Ralphs school.
Saying that they were not the poorest, but thats hardly a good way to go about analysing peoples class is it, your not as broke as me so your a cunt. Before you say I call people middle class your forgetting something, I am thick and a hypocrite, it has its advantages.

So many amazing finishes. The Etim vs Barboza fight was class.
