It's my band's first show tonight, not sure how we're going to go down as our style is pretty different to the rest of the bands on the bill. But it should be fun anyway. Babysitting tomorrow night, pouring wine and tea at the mayor's civic reception on Sunday. Wooo.

yeah lots of packing and checking i have all info i need written down, and sending of emails to people. also maybe some attempt at learning the cyrillic alphabet, although i think i know most of it due to my cunning ruse of making a bookmark with it on.
then at 19.25 on sunday night i get a bus to heathrow, arrive at heathrow about 2 hrs later, and then have 9, yes, count them, 9 hours before my flight leaves for st. petersburg. eventually around 2pm i should land, and have fun finding the youth hostel, then if it isn't dark i'll go and have my first wander through st. petersburg. ok, technically i'm now talking about monday, but it's not as if it makes any difference to me what day of the week it is...

Yeah pretty much. Someone said they thought our style was a 'fusion', and there was stuff being said about a 'cross between rock and roll and hardcore' or something. But fuck that, it's punk rock.
Twas a good show, absolutely packed out (although most of the crowd were the kind of people who make me ashamed to have a side parting) 'cause the other bands were cool and popular and stuff. We were the best ones though, obviously.

This is a progress report. I've just come in from drink + drugs episode, far too wired to sleep. Might have to go out again in a short while. I don't normally like drinking heavily on top of speed and LSD, but tonight I've got involved with a few friends, including local talent the Fen Tigers, and you know, you don't want to turn down kind offers of booze. Still nice one. I need to buy cheese at some point tommorrow, I like to plan ahead.

Fans? Haha. I dunno who said it but they were probably just being pretentious. The 'fusion' wasn't deliberate I don't think, it just came out that way.
We're recording stuff next week, it might find its way onto a computer somewhere but then again it may remain in tape form forever haha.

Just got in from post-carnival and fair pharmo-orgy. After last night, I am unable to comment further.
Oh, apart from this one club, Shout!, where they not only had the audacity to play "Living on a Prayer" but also faded the chorus down so the general public could sing along acappella. I had to exit at that point. Luckily enough, the evening picked up after that.
