What's everyone doing for Christmas?
I'm not up to much, having a mini "christmas day" this eve and tomorrow morn with my gf, then gonna go to my folks on the 25th, watch the family rows unfold, then come home boxing day. Not seeing the "other half" of the family for xmas this year, which will save some grief, and mean I won't get into any more fights with my right-wing uncle, who happens to know shit-all about anything as well.
I predict as gifts from my family I will receive some wine, a couple of DVDs, maybe family guy or something, and a few random household items.
So, what are all you guys gonna be up to?
My sister's girlfriend's parents are coming over for an unconventional xmas.

Too soon for jokes, I'm still sore with you.

more KY?
Home recovering from the excesses of last term with antibiotics and shit. Just my folks and my sister. Today my aunt, uncle and baby cousins came round and everyone wistfully reminisced about my grandfather threatening to "shake some bananas" at a black flight attendant at LAX airport. I almost fuckin exploded with self-righteousness.
Well christmas came early for me.
Tomorrow I'm going to my sister's place and I'm staying there until my mum picks me up boxing day, gonna spend the morning at her place, my Grandma is coming too. Then off to my Dad's. I'm planning to be drunk most of the time.
Double post.
Thought I might as well say I've got no idea what I'll get. Hopefully nothing too crap. Got to buy my dad's present tomorrow.
Had christmas with my Uni flatmates weeks ago. It was lovely. We went on a 3 hour walk on the Sussex downs after lunch and I found a mansion.
Now I'm back at my dad's until the 29th or 30th, watching TCM and eating smoked salmon for two weeks, then back to Brighton to spend New Years with Jack!
I'm boycotting christmas this year

Happy hollidays everyone!
Going to my parents tonight, probably spend most of christmas day playing ProEvo with my bros, sweet!
Off to see my crazy folks in half an hour - back on the 27th....Dunno about next weekend yet...
It's a lot easier to boycott Christmas in Israel, frankly. (Yeah, some people don't live in predominantly Christian communities, you Western bastards!
)
Mostly I'm mourning the fact that I will no longer be able to find those special Hannukah doughnuts until next year.
Hey
I love doughnuts!! - What is special about the Hannukah variety btw????
Amd according to the - even moderate - right in Britain we are now a predominantly Muslim community..

for christmas I want to know how to do this.
Well, they're called sufganiyot. They're very easy to make, and delicious. Not too plumping, either. I miss them soo much...
They'll be back next year, though.
Plus, I can make my own.
But I'm too lazy.

Shoot my neighbour?
Really cheesy jokes aside I'm about to go to a baptism. My parents and I have worked out a deal where the only church services I have to go to are baptisms, weddings and funerals. So off to god land for me
.....
I'm contemplating doing that drunk or stoned, but I seemed to have lost my weed at my parents house. I wonder if they'll find it before I do, or my grandparents do. Ahh life imitating sitcoms.....
Cheers for the link, Tree - liked the pinup of the doughnuts!!! it is really impressive you know how to make these, btw...
Well I am off now...bye all!!
Love

Not as impressive as you think. Never said I knew how to do them well.
Re-Union Dinner/Birthday Party today. No presents.
9 people in total, was pretty good. Most of the lads were drunk enough to think carolling was a good idea by 7pm. So we went and I was sober because I don't drink so I acommpanied the singers with screams. The lad who arranged this re-union last year is in China teaching English. He's been gone for 6 months so we thought we'd cheer his mum up and sing (I made an effort this time) for her. She burst into tears after a verse of Silent Night and invited us all in for drinks and snacks afterwards. His Dad said we'd made his Mum's Christmas this year. Best birthday ever, which is pretty depressing.
Xmas is at my motherinlaw's, which is fine cuz she's nice and a good cook and I get a lot of reading time while my wife gets dragged to the church service. After xmas proper I'm taking a train to visit my dad and my brother and deliver their presents then getting drunk w/ old friends from the Chicago IWW.
Seeing Fucked Up (courtesy of their pimps at Vice UK) on Wednesday, hopefully hooking up with a uni mate round his off Commercial Rd for a few drinks after before heading off to Copenhagen in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Shit I forgot to wrap my presents. So I can either do them now at 4 in the morning... or get up early and do them tomorrow. Hmmm or take it all to my folks' and try to wrap stuff there without letting anyone see what a lazy fucker I am
I also meant to send a bunch of happy christmas emails. Hmmm...
I'm doing as much for christmas as it does for me
nowt.
I went for a skate with friends and we found the only shop open in our area and bought cookies. My dad forgot to give me a present and now I'm waiting for my FOODZ!!111BUMBUM
to be honest Christmas is a bit wack this year.
Anyone eat anything good for xmas lunch? I had the 'standard' (but it was great)... Turkey, stuffing, ham, sausages, bacon, roast potatoes, bread sauce, sprouts, xmas pudding etc.
I had nut and lentil roast. It was fuckin great.

you are the shittest vegetarian i've ever met rkn
I had the traditional too, but the best bit got left in the oven till wed nearly finished, had to nearly kill myself eating them, but it was worth it. i'm talking, of course, of pigs in blankets.

Yeah but it was all nice meat so it might have well have been vegetables.

My unofficial birthday party tomorrow with about 10 people (it's actually just a re-union dinner with some old friends that I've hi-jacked). Apart from that nothing. My Dad's away for these few weeks which is a relief because that means I won't have to talk to him.
