Hello peeps
Ooh yes it is all so exciting! Aketus has just confirmed the dates for his London visit to me and he is only in England for a few days. So I am hoping that as many of you as possible can turn up for this to give the boy from Aus a big London welcome! I already have a client booked in for that day and can prolly move her appointment back an hour but still won't be able to get to London before 8.30pm at the earliest so I am hoping we can have a venue in East London so I can be there at least before 9. Does anyone have a suggested venue in mind? I will go anywhere but the Castle because of the pending knife fight last time i was there. I would suggest a venue myself but whenever i do some blooming admin wants to change it (heh! ) so i will take your best suggestion. Also hope the Fri the 13th isn't unlucky for some and that most of you can make it! The Sat 14th would also be a possibility but i felt the Fri would be a better choice. BIG excitement! I am soon to be in receipt of chocolate from Australia.! Oh yes!

Can you remind me - the Pride or the Artillery Arms - which is the one we went to before - the small one with the in-house cat that FTony likes and the old cranberry juice i nearly poisoned Rkn with..! The one R. turned up to..that night JK stayed at the Lair..
Shame if you can't make it on the 13th - if you already have gig tickets it can't be helped.. who are el-p btw??
If Aketus wants and is free and his partner - who is coming over with him - doesn't object - i could always take him to the Foundry Sat as well so he can have that essential Communist drinking experience!! Also I have no client commitments on the Sat so it will be easier to travel to Old Street on the Sat.
So yeah the Pride or the Artillery on the Fri - just remind me which is which!!

Tekken is a game for Playstation (and PS2). I went and stayed at aketus' place and kicked his arse on his own game, despite never having played it before.

so far either fri or sat is fine for me, friday's probably best. The foundry's bigger than the pride, but it's also noisier. But then there are chairs and tables downstairs too now... there may be pricks on the spinning floor though.

Fri it is in the Pride. This will be for the main Aketus drinks.
And Sat in the Foundry for anyone who cannot make Fri drinks for any reason. Or who would like to see Aketus again.
John and Rkn - i think i am right that the Pride is the one we met in before with the cat where i nearly poisoned Rkn (repeats q as obv. Rkn and John didn't read my later posts on this thread.. 
*sighs* )
Could either of you post addresses and phone nos and mebbe a map for the Pride and Foundry to help Aketus and anyone else...( inc. me as i have a terrible memory for locations and directions..

edit - the map's not clear cos the station has multiple exits. Take the Whitechapel Art Gallery exit, then go left out of the station, away from the art gallery, KFC and freedom. Then take the first left which'll be Osborne St which becomes Brick Lane. Then it's a bit up and on the right.
