The sad thing is my mum reacted like that when i told her I'm coming up to the Bookfair. Not the grounding thing,or the car taken away (I don't drive) but the general pitch was the same. Then I told her I was talking to Irish lads, and she went ballistic. Apparently she had a bad experience on the Falls Road once. maybe she didn't get his number....
