Submitted by Devrim on 27 March, 2008 - 14:35.

What is it all about then?

I remember the last 'Platformist' organisation in the UK.

Meanwhile at the Bar: it's a small political discussion board, with 2 politics forums -- one "open" i.e. google-able, the other closed. The discussion in question is taking place in the "closed" politics forum.

(And wraeth started it -- the discussion, that is. Not the forums).

27 March, 2008 - 15:09

Yes kids, i could guess it was MATB. I checked because:

if you have seen what was said on MATB the question is why are you asking here? Its been explained.

27 March, 2008 - 15:10

Cheers for the edit Tacks

I don't think it has been explained very well really.

I wouldn't call it a split.

After a lot of internal discussions debates, proposals, etc several members, including myself have left. Consiquently there is now no such thing as Reading AF, and I believe Birmingham may now no longer exist.

We are persuing the creation of a paltformist organisation in the UK, that I personally will hope works on friendly terms with the AF. I can't tell you anymore about this new group because it's not properly established yet.

Anything other than this is the itnernal bussiness of the AF. If you want to ask me any specific questions feel free.

BTW devrim im "wat tyler" on revleft

whats your question madas?

whatever it is, a bit aggressive. We are not getting drawn into anything here. What david has said is all that needs to be said smile

27 March, 2008 - 17:15

This is not news, it's shit-stirring and Devrim knows it.
Bin please!

27 March, 2008 - 17:15

Another UK anarchist organisation might be news to some people?

27 March, 2008 - 17:19

It's not shit stirring this is worth some discussion. What I have said will probably be pretty final, but like I say, if anyone wants to know anything more they can feel free to ask and I will answer to whatever extent I feel is appropriate.

27 March, 2008 - 17:20

It is news to me.

27 March, 2008 - 17:21

Well its like 'news' in the The Sun; sure you didn't know it before, but a) do you need to and b) the person telling you it has questionable intentions; Devrim isn't intrested in answers, he is attempting to draw people out on different boards for a bunfight.

No can do old boy, sorry smile

People leaving an organisation with the intent to start a new one ought to be given time to make proper statements rather than having it all torn apart on here before anything has actually happened.

27 March, 2008 - 17:35

^^^^^^ what this man said

27 March, 2008 - 17:38

Exactly I am not going to say any more than I have, go elsewhere for your gossip. tongue

27 March, 2008 - 17:55

shame tacks is such a cock tho smile

27 March, 2008 - 18:05

Aye, i have to live with the burdern every day sad

27 March, 2008 - 18:13

if a few comments on a small message board are likely to tear apart said organisation then it doesn't bode too well for its future anyway

I am more talking about the destructive nature of gossip in general, the message board is just a medium for it (and a rather good one). I have already heard some pretty ludicrous rumours about this group - not useful when in the formative stages.
