Yesterday was Rata's birthday and three solidarity protests: in Oslo, Madrid and Bern. So far we have only a report on the Madrid action:

Besides pickets, there have also recently been some benefit concerts to help with legal costs. Hopefully we will compile a list of such upcoming events.

The network of people working on solidarity and preparing for future work and will probably produce a new website soon with more resources.

Monday the 30 day period will have already expired but there is a chance that the comrades may not be released due to the fact that the police did not finish their "investigation". If the charges would carry a sentence of over 10 years in jail, they may keep them in remand another six months. This of course would just be a shit move to drag out the process. However we cannot and should not make any predictions but we will know soon enough. If the comrades are not released, we will escalate the campaign.

maybe it would make sense to keep all ASI solidarity posts in one thread?

The Belgrade 6 are still in remand more than 30 days after their detention was ordered.

The reconstruction of the incident, originally scheduled for last week, will take place next week, and there is no possibility they will be released before then. It looks as if the prosecution is dragging everything out.

The comrades may be held up to 6 months without charges!

Updated information on the www.asi.zsp.net.pl website includes news about recent protests, a translation of an article from the mainstream press (in English and Spanish), a list of all protests and more. We are currently gathering information about upcoming benefit concerts. A concert should be held in the autonomous park in Exarchia Oct. 17. A few concerts were already held but attendance was poor and little money made.
