The govt. have outsourced the control of UK immigrant detention centres to the US-based group 'GEO'. It's a 3 year contract.
That's 'GEO' as in 'formerly Wackenhut Corrections' and afaik, they manage Guantanamo.
If govt is successful in it's plans to fragment health services further, we could see the Govt. allowing GEO to run our Psychiatric Hospitals, as they do already in USA.
