I thought there may be an emergence of the BNP as the 'respectable' and political arm of the fash. Consider its position now, compared to the early 1990s. The BNP then had about 800 members, all boneheads, fielded few candidates, widely seen as a joke. Now it has councillors, Griffin is an MEP, fields lots of parliamentary candidates etc.
The EDL I thought would be used as a street army, with its rowdy and crowdy ways, an appeal to alienated youth.
So I thought the BNP and the EDL would work together, and converge at some point, no matter how much they denied it.
But I see Robisnson has decided on the British Freedom Party instead.
It's gonna be interesting to see what happens.

More like terrifying we could be looking at a rebirth of fascism if these events that are taking place converge with a politically and financially strong Front National, who maybe tempted to lend support to their fellow anti Islamists in the UK. Which if does happen we have to get our shit together and conduct physical campaign against the right and inevitability against the state.

It's an interesting but classical maneuver i.e the working class members get put into a street based organisation whilst the party aims to recruit the upper classes.
