At the moment there is a wave of food riots around the world. They have a revolutionary potential. That's why the project "global revolt" has put on the web (http://globalrevolt.wordpress.com). It tries to cover all big price struggles, to list them, to link them and to map them. For the moment everything is only in german language.

Most names of countries and cities are very similiar in english. And the source-links are almost hundred percent in english. Today I tried also to do a little prediction. go to the blog to read it in german (http://globalrevolt.wordpress.com/2008/06/02/hungerrevolten-weltweit-april-bis-juni-2008/#comments).

here a little abstract: So I think that
1. protests in europe will become bigger, stronger, more unified. success is uncertain because splitting is easy. very important is the new tactic of an simultaneous struggle in several countries. but the biggest impact has the oil price.
2. several asian countries will see more massmovement struggles. they can break down very fast, but could also become quiet dangerous for the state.
3. african countries will see short food and fuel riots as before. they can be won fastly at the one hand or hardly repressed by the other.
