French CNT-AIT members arrested in Strasbourg
Hi Everyone,
we take our mail list to make an urgent appeal for solidarity for three militants of the CNT-AIT who were arrested in Strasbourg during the anti-NATO. They have to go on trial tomorrow in the context of immediate appearances for "crowd for terrorism"! We call upon all the world to demonstrate to the High Court in Strasbourg and to the Office of the Prosecutor to show our solidarity and demand their immediate release. You can use the sample letter below:
"Monsieur le Procureur de la République de Strasbourg,
We learned the arrest of deleted during a demonstration against the NATO summit in Strasbourg. We remind you that the right of expression is guaranteed by the Constitution and would like to express our solidarity with our three companions. We demand their immediate release today. "
Here's the fax:

Thank you in advance.
For the CNT-AIT de Pau, Jipé.
We were talking to someone in the camp. They say that there are many arrests and in general tomorrow people will demonstrate in front of the court. I think tomorrow means Sunday.
My comrade spoke to someone from CNT-AIT France and they are waiting for more info, but from that conversation, it is safe to assume that there has been no court appearance yet.
Could you please tell us what "tomorrow" exactly is? As far as I know, the comrades were detained on Friday, april 3. Does this mean, they already had their trial today, saturday (in the midth of todays riots)? Or will it take place on sunday, april 5? Or in other words, is it still of use sending protest letters to the court?
This was posted on various Spanish sites today so I assumed "tomorrow" meant Sunday. I'm not definite about it though.
Here is the CNT AIT local union of paris
The 3 people are free till Friday.
They will not be on court this sunday (it is even unclear what will be the futur, as it seems that there are no charges at least against some of them).
So please do NOT send faxes to the prosecutor ...
And will it be possible you erase the names on the message ?
If you want a confirmation you can send a mail to contact@cnt-ait.info
Thanks
