The mag they wish didn't exist - Principia Dialectica
Now available on the Principia Dialectica website - a reply to Professor Sprint's article on science in Issue No. 2, plus critical fragments on Zizek, Cuba, Timmy Clarke and more. For all those still stuck in the class war trenches, go awol for a while and enjoy a sneaky fag with the cutting edge mag behind the bikesheds. Only one request please...no dewy-eyed mumbling about the proletariat this or bourgeoisie that. Also, we hope you can carefully interrogate your use of that much over-used category 'surplus value.' This is 2007 after all! Soon to be uploaded on the website is an interview with Hungarian scholar G M Tamas (author of 'Telling the Truth about Class' in the 2006 Socialist Register) plus how Moishe Postone's book Time, Labor and Social Domination is finding an ever wider audience in the trad marxist camps...plus a rare and hard to find manuscript by a libertarian who stood up to the Bolshevik tyranny ninety years ago this month. Keep checking everyday for new updates!
Plus coming soon...Issue No 3 in all the best shops as usual.
personal question - apart from write the magasine, what other political work are you engaged in?
Collecting dirty laundry from nice men in an organisation called 'the CIA' whatever that is! They let us use their money to fund our magazine, lovely chaps.
Thats a joke by the way.

But seriously now?
if my experience is anything togo by, they keep getting told to fuck off.
Cometothink of it why is it the icc who get accused of being too hard on potential n00bs?
Dear Tacks - words to the wise - avoid work. It's a killer.

Are these guys some third position morons? - they are "friends" with Troy Southgate?
No, they're pro-situs.
spastic pro situs who think Adorno et al are cutting edge.
Good job they're still fighting the orthodox marxists......
Still like a lot of superficial things it's pretty to look at.

I'm not interested in what you do for a living, what are you're active politics outside of your mag?
I heard they once shot a Guy.
Don't leave it too late to escape from the class war trenches! It's always hard for people to cast off out of date critiques...These days, everyone loves the Situationists. It wasn't always so...Lib Com will have to eventually catch up. Your old ideology is like rusty armour...
A new student ideology is spreading around the world: a dehydrated version of the young Marx called “situationism.”
—Daily Telegraph (22 April 1967)
The situationists . . . are more anarchist than the anarchists, whom they find too bureaucratic.
—Carrefour (8 May 1968)
Too extreme for those of the Old Left intelligent enough to understand it and too incomprehensible for those of the New Left extreme enough to live it.
— Grove Press opinion on Viénet’s Enragés and Situationists...
When one reads or rereads the Internationale Situationniste issues it is quite striking to what degree and how often these fanatics have made judgments or put forward viewpoints that were later concretely verified.
—Le Nouvel Observateur (8 February 1971)
So the 68 in your username is your age, yeh? Quite funny that a magazine that runs bushisms would slag libcom too, one more push if you want to be real revolutionaries!
i'm glad to see Sean68 has been getting the most out of our library, such as this. 6/10 so far. may i suggest some marxian reversals?
Aw sorry Tacks, but your question raises the key problem effecting all militants: the question of work. Paul LaFargue in his little pamphlet The Right to Be Lazy puts it well:
'in capitalist society work is the cause of all intellectual degeneracy, of all organic deformity.'
The minute you start talking about the utopian project as one of 'work' - , well, you are already a dead duck.
Anyway, back to editing issue no 3.

Don't put words in his mouth now Sean. Tacks wasnt talking about work at all but rather its negation. I'm with him on this because he's never held a meeting in an art gallery.
it's like uber pc gone all psychidelic man!
Are there any distributors in the US?
i don't like it cos they don't care about what they're saying whether it's right or wrong. it's written all over it it in crayon.
that's not the right attutude to learning damnit!
they seem friendly, but secretive and vindictive etc. too which is annoying.
