Murray Bookchin Dead at 85

Well this was current two weeks ago & I did try to post somewhere or other then.

Bookchin was a brave and innovative thinker; regardless of the influence or not of social ecology in the long term, his injunction to libertarians not to become the guardians of the ossuary of anarchist saints should keep us all on our toes in the struggle to develop a praxis appropriate to the ever changing struggle against hierarchy.

He doesn't need a eulogy from me; as I wrote on the back-up forum, just go and read 'Post-Scarcity Anarchism' and 'The Ecology of Freedom'.
