Unofficial strikes have broken out across the country in a dispute over EU-sanctioned "social dumping."

In a repeat of last winter's Lindsey oil refinery dispute, some 50 laggers walked out at the South Hook liquefied natural gas port terminal at Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire, south-west Wales, on Tuesday morning.

The dispute began over the refusal by plant subcontractor Hertel UK to employ local workers in skilled lagging and thermal insulation jobs - in breach of national agreements with trade unions.
