Next dissent! gathering, South Wales 6th August
Submitted by Lazlo_Woodbine on Jul 20 2005 11:07
The Cardiff group are organising the next dissent! gathering, which will be in a farm in South Wales, 6th August.
This gathering, as well as dealing with matters arising from the G8 protests -- debriefs, reflections and prisoner support -- will also see a fair amount of discussion about the 'way forward' for dissent. All local groups are strongly encouraged to send at least one person to this gatherings, so the widest possible number of voices are represented.
Details of the gathering will be posted up soon.

Directions to Highbury Farm from Redbrook
At the Southern edge of the village take the Coach Road, which leaves the main road at a tight angle. Follow this up the hill, past some garages on your right until the road forks into two tracks. Take the right hand track and follow this up the hill, following it round the hairpin bend. At the next fork, on a steep corner, take the left hand track up to the main house, (the right hand track leads up to our barns and Highbury Woods.)
Alternative Route for Walkers
You will find a flight of steps behind and to the left of The Bell pub, (these are marked as Offa's Dyke footpath..) Follow these up, at the top continue up the lane directly in front of you until Offa's Dyke footpath leaves the lane to the left. Follow this up the hill, accross two fields. At the top gate take the track directly in front of you up to the house.
