Fraternal greetings from Corning, NY and the Finger Lakes region. It would be great to meet up with nearby comrades, but I'm not sure there are any. Maybe a leafleting campaign first!

Anyone have some suggestions for the best boards for a n00b like me to dive into?

Would you believe that after 23 years in New York, the closest I've ever been to NYC is Troy? I like the fresh country air, but politically this is Red Meat country, it's kinda scary in the Trump era from a physical safety standpoint, and I've always been jealous of what I imagine is a friendlier cosmopolitan climate downstate.
